QUIET DAY
THE ROYAL FISHING PARTY IN TAUPO WATERS. FINE WEATHER YESTERDAY. TOKAA'NU, March 1. To-day was gloriously fine after a dull morning. Besides the Boyal party other groups of tourists were fishing on the Lake or at the Tongariro River delta. Some good eatches were recorded.
General Bridges, Governor of South Australia, who is spending part of his holiday in the district, landed sixteen fine fish at the delta. News of the Ducal angling party’s doings for tne afternoon have yet not come from the camp, but rumour has it that the Duke and Duchess, wearing waders, between them eaught several trout.
