BURNED TO DEATH.
BULLOCK TEAMSTER’S FATE.
CHARRED REMAINS FOUND IN DEBRIS OF WHARE.
HASTINGS, February 28.
The charred remains of a man were found in the debris of a whare which, was burnt down lait night at Waimarama and discovered about 10 o’clock this morning. It is believed to be that cf T. H. Lamb, familiarly known as “Dick” Lamb, aged 60, and married, but living alone. Lamb owned a team of bullocks and was well-known in the district for a considerable number of years. He is supposed to have a son in the Palmerston North district.-— (P.A.).
