GREEK STEAMER WRECKED.

ON ENGLISH COAST. ONLY ONE MAN SAVED. (Received Monday, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 28. The Greek steamer Stinies struck a rock off Land’s End in stormy weather and sank in ten minutes. The third engineer, who was picked up dinging to a lifebelt, says the erew launched the lifeboat; but it capsised. All except himself and a fireman were immediately drowned. The fireman later released his hold. The engineer was rescued by a fishing smack after being many hours in the water and in darkness.— (A. and N.Z.)
