MASTERTON RACING CLUB.
THE AUTUMN PROGRAM MI
Programmes have now been published for the Masterton Racing Club’s
autumn meeting which is to be held at the Opaki racecourse on Thursday, x\pril 7. The principal event-, the Autumn Handicap (1J miles) carries a stake of 250 sovs, while the Open Flying is worth 150 sovs. The remaining six events cater liberally for hacks, maidens and juveniles. The club has spent a considerable amount of money since last year in course improvements and it is confidently expected that th© meeting will be well supported. Nominations close for all events on Monday, March 21, at 9 p.m.. Weights will be declared on March 28, and acceptances close on Friday, April 1, at 9 p.m.
