CARTERTON SALE. - The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op, Association Lt'd., stock department report: A good yarding of all classes of stock came forward. Sheep were in good demand and a pen of 2-th ewes, offered on account of G. McKenzie, made 28/4. The pigs met with a fair sale and cattle sold at prices well up to late sale rates. We report: Pigs: Baconers, £2 10/, £2; slips, 20/, 16/; weaners, 15/6, 15/, 14/6 and 12/; small weaners from 7/6 to 9/. Sheep: 42 2-th ewes 28/4, 20 m.a ewes 15/6, 70 b.f. lambs 16/, 40 do 10/10, 65 m.s. w.f. lambs 10/6, 1 S.D ram 8 gns, 1 do 7 gns, 1 do 6 gns, 1 aged do 23 gns, 1 do 1 gn.
