DENTAL CLINIC.
MEETING OP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
EXPANSION IN ACTIVITIES.
The meeting yesterday of the executive committee controlling the Masterton Dental Clinic was attended by Messrs. Alex Donald, A. Wilson (Central School), H. V. Halso (Lansdowne School), T. Elder (Solway), and H. S. Loudon (secretary). Apologies were ■received from Messrs. J. J. McCleary (West School) and T. H. Horton'(Fernridge School). A comparative statement for two recent periods disclosed a great expansion in the activities of the Clinic. In the period from December 1 to December 22, there were 233 operations, the total attendance was 147, and the total number of patients was 68.
In the four and a half weeks to February 24, operations numbered 323, and the total attendances were 212.
A second chair was installed on February 15, and Mr. A. D. Brice, 8.D.5., was appointed to the Clinic to assist in coping with the press of work. • Accounts amounting to £24 12s 7d were passed for payment. It was decided to write to the local dental officer asking that a copy of the report furnished monthly to the Department should be supplied to the executive.
