SHIPMENT FROM AUSTRALIA. LONDON, February 20. Mr. A. R. Hassan (of the Australian Meat Council) interviewed on inspection of tho Port Hardy’s chilled quarters of beef, said that they revealed only a slight surface mould, fairly general and obviously of recent growth. Otherwise the general presentation of colour was excellent. He was satisfied that Australian chilled beef was a practical commercial proposition.—A. and N.Z.).
