A MEDITERRANEAN UPHEAVAL.
CAIRO, February 20. British destroyers bound for China report big submarine upheavals in the Mediterranena simultaneous with the Balkan earthquake of February 14. Convulsed sets wore encountered, with mountainous waves from opposite directions, crashing over the decks with a tremendous roar. The cruiser Dauntless was entering Port Said when the. sailors rushed up on deck owing to the inflow of water. The liner Adriatic, was tossed for two days outside Alexandria.—(A. and N.ZA
