Mow’lem, who has been re lieving Stipendiary Magistrate in Mas terton for the past twelve months, took the opportunity of bidding goodbye to members of the legal profession at iho courthouse on Saturday morning. Owing to continued indisposition. Mr. Mqwlem has found that it may be necessary to enter hospital for an opera tion. He sincerely regretted that through these circumstances Mr. Fro* would have to be recalled to the Brench before he was quite well again. Mr. D. K. Logan, on behalf of the legal profession, said they were all very shocked to hear that Mr. Mowlem’s state of health neces.sit&ted hi* leaving tliem sooner than was antici pated. Mr. Logan said that Mr. Mow lem had earned their sincerest respect and regard. It was exceedingly sor rowful to have to say good-bye under these circumstances, and he expressed the sincere hope that Air. Mowlc"i would soon be restored to health. Mr. T. Jordan endorsed what Mr. Logan had said. He wished to thank AL. Mowlcni for his patience and forbearance on the Bench, and hoped that ho would soon be again in good health.
