A satisfactory settlement of the New South Wales colliery dispute has been reached, a Sydney message reports, and the pits will re-open on Monday. Against strong opposition by President Coolidge, the United States Congress has passed a Bill involving an appropriation of 250 million dollars to assist agricultural co-operative organisations through the Federal Farm Board; which will regulate the marketing of surplus products.
