Messrs. F. J. Brooks anil F. W. Kempton, of Greytown, are visiting tho Pieton Sounds.
Mr. R. Hart, who is well-known in connection with the Hawke’s Bay A. and P. Association, is at present the guest of Mrs. D. G. Williams, Cole Street. He was a visitor to the Masterton Show.
Mr. A. E. Freeman, vice-president of the United Fire Brigades' Association, will leave Masterton for Rotorua on Tuesday, and will later attend the United Fire Brigades’ Association conference at Gisborne.
The marriage took place at St. Mark's Church, Wellington, last week of Miss Elsie Alice Munn<, eldest daughter of Mrs. L. Herbert, of Masterton, and the late Mr. A. C. Herbert, of Pongaroa, and Mr. Valentino Herbert Heath, youngest son of the lute Mr. and Mrs. .T JI. R, Heath, Kara ka Bay, Wellington.
