SWIMMING CARNIVAL.
AT CARTERTON. SEVERAL CHAMPIONS COMPETING. Swimming enthusiasts who attend the carnival to be held at Carterton to-day under the auspices of the Carterton Amateur Swimming Club will be well catered fof. In addition to the cream of local comperitoffi, several outsiders of championship standing will compete. Alias Ena Stockley, the premier lady sprint swimmer, Miss Kathleen Miller, champion lady distance swimmer, and Air. Lindsay, a prominent Canterbury all-distan.ee champion, will try conclusions w r ith Wairarapa swimmers. A full and varied programme has been arranged.
