RECENT SHOW SUCCESSES.
LARGE INCREASE IN OUTFI T
Tho usual monthly meeting of directors of the Afauriceville Dairy Company was held in the company’s offices at Mauriceville. Air. V. K. Lemberg presided over a full attendance. The monthly statistical reports covering output were entirely satisfactory, tho increase being equal to 32 per cent. Local sales show a substantial increase, favourable reports being made concerning the quality sold to the local market. Grading records still are high, the average being well above 93, the minimum set for finest grade. The financial position keeps buoyant, due to low' expenses and a high return on sales. The payment to be made for January is Is 2d. Correspondence concerning fertilis-
ers was before the directors and it was decided to associate the company with the Challenge i Phosphate Company to secure substantial rebates on fertilisers for suppliers. The latest results obtained in open
competition at the Alasterton Show again demonstrated the high quality of the company’s output, highest points being gained for both butter for export and local sales. Congratulations were extended to tho manager and staff on the excellent results achieved. The best thanks are due to tho suppliers for quality cream, which is the all-impor-tant factor in the production of good butter.
The manager reported on an addition to the water supply to meet the increase in business, the extensions being almost completed. An ample supply of good water will bo ensured.
