“THE SUNSHINE GIRL.” PROPOSED FOR THIS YEAR. A well-attended meeting of the Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society, held last evening, to choose an opera for the forthcoming season, was presided over by Mr. R. S. Halliwell. Regarding the admission of new members, it was adopted as the society’s future policy that all applicants for membership should be proposed and seconded by financial members of the society, such applications to be approved finally by the Executive Committee.
