JJOTI6E IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Masterton County Council held on TUESDAY, the Bth day of February, 1927, the following Resolution was passed:— That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 17 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Stronvar-Ngahape Special Rating District in the County of Masterton testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers in the said Special Rating District, the Capital Values of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County are collectively greater than the Capital Values of the properties of the Ratepayers who did not so consent, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows:— 1. —THAT the Council proceed to Raise a Loan of One Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£1500) for the purpost of metalling approximately 2A miles of the Stronvar Road and approximately three-quarters of a mile of the Ngahape Road in the Wainuioru Riding. 2. —THx\T such Loan be called “The Masterton County Stronvar-Ngahape Special Rating District Loan of £l5OO, 1927. 3. —THAT the Currency of the said Loan sliall be for ft, period of thirty-six and one half (36i) years, commencing on the first day of February, 1927, and maturing on the first day of August, 1963. 4. —THAT the Interest on the sail Loan shall be -at the rate of Six Pounds (£6) per centum per annum and shall be payable halflyearly on the first day of February and August in each and every year. 5. —THAT the form of security for •the payment of Principal and Interest on the said Loan shall be fifteen (15) debentures of One Hundred Pounds (£100) each and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.” , 6.—THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as Security for the repayment of the said Loan and the Interest, Sinking Fund and other charges thereon, the Special Rate of thirteen-thirty-seconds (13-32) of a Penny in the Pound Sterling on the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all Rateable Property in the Stronvar-Ngahape Speeial Rating District in the County of Masterton. 7. —THAT the Principal and Interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. 8. —THAT the cost of Raising the Loan and the Interest ' and Sinking Fund for the first year of the said loan be paid out of the Loan. NOTICE is hereby further given that the above Special Order will be submitted for Confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Mastefton County Council to be held at 2 p.m. on TUESDAY, the Bth day of March, 1927, at the Council Chambers, County Office, Chapel Street, Masterton. Classes in these subjects will be formed in addition to the usual Drawing and Painting Classes, if sufficient support is forthcoming. In order that necessary arrangements may be made, students desiring to take up any of the Art Subjects are requested to communicate with the Principal as soon as possible. EVENING CLASSES.
