RECORD ENTRIES. CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. DANNEVIRKE, February 9. Starting in all the brilliance of summer, judging day of tho Dannevirke A and P. Association’s annual Show, concluded with a thunderstorm, lasting nearly an hour and accompanied by a tropical deluge which drove all to shelter. The streets of the town were temporarily flooded and water invaded several business places in High Street. Nearly two inches of rain fell. But for the inconvenience ocassioned, the rain did practically no harm so far as the Show was concerned. Tho Show is probably the best all-round display under the auspices of the -society. The cattle classes show a slight decline, but all other sections have record entries. Championships were awarded as follows:— Friesians.—Bull and cow, and reserve cow champions, O. A. Cadwallader. Red Polls. —Bull, champion and reserve champion, Central Development Farm; cow, Fcilding Agricultural College; reserve, N. Inder. Milking Shorthorns.—Bull, T. A. Cooper; cow, R. V. Brown. Aberdeen Angus.—Bull, D. Allan, reserve, J. Armstrong; cow, D. Allan; reserve, D. Allan. Ayrshire. —Bull, M. Howat; junior champion, C. B. Morgan; cow, C. B. Morgan; reserve, M. Howat; junior champion, C. B. Morgan. Jersey. —Bull, W. T. Williams; reserve, R. L. Horn; junior championship, F. C. Bryant; cow, a R. L. Horn, also reserve champion; junior, Mrs. J. W. Spiers. Southdowns. —Ram, J. Knight; reserve, C. E. Vile; ewe, H. Buncll and Son; reserve, J. Knight. Lincolns.—Ram, W. Perry and Son; reserve, W. H. Gaisford; ewes, W. H. Gaisford. Romneys.—Ram and ewe, J.
