WESLEY CHURCH AFFAIRS.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS MEET. PICNIC ARRANGEMENTS. The annual meeting of the Wesley Church Sunday School teachers was held on Monday evening. There was a. large attendance, presided over by the Rev. W. Beckett. A vote of sympathy was passed to the family of the late Mr. H. 8. Vi•bert in their great sorrow. It was decided to order’2oo copies of “The Challenge.” for distribution monthly among the children. The Sunday School picnic was fixed for Saturday, February 19, if the Solway Showgrounds were available on that day. If not, the picnic will be held the week following. The children will leave the school at 10.30 a.m. in motors. Parents and friends will be welcomed in the afternoon. The officers of the school were reelected, with sincere thanks for their faithful services in the past. Mr. C. E. Daniell (superintendent) and Mr. L. Donald (secretary) and Mr R. Mclvor (treasurer) expressed their thanks for the renewal of confidence, but thought that the time was drawing near when the younger men should take , up their duties. Mr. W. S. Jones was elected assistant superintendent and Mr. A. Taylor, assistant librarian to Miss Church. Mr Mclvor relinquished'the office of Young Worshippers’ League Superintendent and Mr. T. Lewis was appointed in his place.
