KEEN COMPETITION. LATE RATES MAINTAINED. (Received Tuesday, 10.55 p.m.). SYDNEY, February 8. At the wool sales an exceptionally strong market ruled, with values fully equal to late rates and still tending in the seller’s favour for superfine sorts. Under keen competition, very full and satisfactory clearances were made. Greasy Merino fleece sold to. 30J pence. —(P.A.).
