AIR FATALITY.
NINE IN BRITAIN THIS YEAR.
LONDON, February 4. Losing his bearings in a mist a pilot, S. Evans, crashed on the Downs near Brighton, and was instantly killed. The machine, double-somersaulting over a bank, took fire and was destroyed. This is the ninth fatal flying accident in 1927. There were 83 last year.—(A. and N.Z.)
