BURGLARIES AT OTAKI.
THREE BROTHERS ARRESTED. . CHARGED WITH THEFT. . LEVIN, February 4. At the_ Levin Court this morning three brothers, Lawrence Egmont Windsor, Albert George Windsor, and Joseph Frederick Windsor, werte charged with having broken and entered the premises of the Otaki dairy factory and stolen stamps of the value of 20s. The accused were remanded appear at Wellington on February 11. The thfee men arc recent arrivals in Manakau, where they were arrested by Detectives Quirke and Russell.—(P.A.). EXPLOSIVES USED. LEVIN, February 4. Yesterday the Otaki Dairy Company’s office was broken into. On Monday morning a charge of gelignite was inserted in the safe keyhole, hut the burglars decamped on the approach cf e factory motor-lorrv. ot#4he same morning the Levin and Linton railway stations were entered, aad the safes opened with explosives.— (P.A).
