FEILDING RAM FAIR.

BIDDING LACKS SPIRIT. TOP PRICE TO WAIRARAPA VENDOR. FEILDING, February 3. The Fcilding annual ram fair opened today. Two thousand Romney and Southdown flock and studs were offered. Bidding showed very little spirit, the opinion being that too many rams were being placed on the market. The highest price for studs was 35gns for a ram offered on behalf of Mr. H. A. Matthews (Featherston) and bought by J. Henderson (Marton). The highest price for a flock Romney was 2? gns, vended by W. C. Small (Feilding). The sale continues to-morrow. —(P.A.)
