MOTOR CAMP.

SITE IN PARK ALLOCATED. A YEAR’S TRIAL. Acting on the recommendation of a sub-committee which collaborated with the Chamber of Commerce and Motor Trade Association, the Masterton Borough Council last night agreed to set aside the reserve in the park beyond the lake as a temporary motor camping rite.

It was explained that after considerable discussion this site was the only possible one, and it had been decided to try it as an experiment for one year. Cr. Kemp mentioned that members of the Motor Trade Association had agreed to supervise the locality and to make improvements where possible and practicable.
