MASTERTON SHOW.
The entries received for the Masterton Show on February 15 and 16 indicate that tho exhibition of stock will probably be the finest ever seen at Solway. The best herds and flocks in the southern portion of the North Island will be represented, and altogether it will be a display which will thoroughly please the breeder. From the general public’s point of view there will be plenty to amuse in the ring events and the side shows, etc. Hot water is supplied free, and the beautiful bush makes an ideal picnic ground. Convenient trains from north and south will run to and from the showgrounds, while there will be a regular motor service from town. The indications point to the 1927 show being the most successful held at Solway for many years. Accommodation in Masterton during show week can be obtained by dropping a postcard to the secretary (Mr B. H. Williams, Box 40, Masterton.)
The annual Ram Fair will be held on February 17 and 18.
