MASTERTON GOLF CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Masterton Golf Club was held on Tuesday evening, Mr H. G. Williams, the Club's president, occupying the chair. The report and balance-sheet, as printed and circulated among members, were adopted. A satisfactory position was disclosed by the balancesheet. Election of officers resulted aa follows :—President, Mr H. G. Will'.ams; vice-presidents, Messrs H. H. Beetham and W. M. Kebbell; captain, Mr A. B. Lawrence; hon. secretary, Mr T. H. Horton; hon. treasurer, Mr H H. Dawson; committee, Messrs T. Flannery, W. H. Robieson, K. Welch, D. Caselberg, J. G. Bee, T. Southall, T. Jordan; hon. auditor, Mr G. W. Sellar; ladies' captain, Mrs P. Gordon; hon. secretary, Miss E. Robieson; committee, Mrs C Bennett, Mrs Guy Williams, Mrs Mcßean Stewart, Mrs W. H. Robieson, Miss Payton. The open'.ng of the season waß fixed for Saturday, April 10th. It was decided to hold a golf ball at an early date, and the matter was loft in the hands of the general committee, (ladies and men) to make the necessary arrangements. A hearty vote of thanks and appreciation was accorded to Mr and Mrs H. G Williams for the help and assistance they had freely given to the Club.
At a meeting of the general committee, Messrs T. H. Horton, T. Flannery, and T. Southall were elected as a ground committee, and Messrs J. G. Bee, W. H. Robieson, and T. Flannery wore elected as a match committee.
