STARVING RUSSIA.

By the English mail which arrived yesteday, wo received the following communication from Her Royal Highness Prince Christian, of London, which speaks for itself: — "Sir, —May I enlist your sympathy and support to tho enclosed appeal, which is being made by tho Itussian Bed Cross organisation in Great Britain on behalf of the starving and destitute civilian population in Russia? Their terrible condition, owing to tho entire lack of supplies of every kind, defies all description. The recent advance of the Bolshevik troops is causing increased misery. I shall bo most grateful for any help you can givo in circulating this appeal."
