In Gazette of 25th March the details- of the areas open for. sale or Lease by returned soldiers of the portion of the Tuturumuri estate recently purchased by Government from Mr Vivian Riddiford, are set forth as under.— Lot 1.—328 acres, capital value £BB9O, instalment on deferred payment (excluding interest) £314 10s, half yearly rent on lease £lB2 10s 6d. Lot 6.—452 acres 1 rood, £6790, £384 10s, £152 15s 6d. Lot 7.-545 acres, £B3OO, £415, £lB6 15b. Lot 8.-944 acres, £6BOO, £340, £153. Lot 9.-586 acres, £6580, £329, £l4B Is. Lot 10.—522 acres, £6370, £3lB 10s, £143 6b 6d. Lot 11.—868 acres, £BOIO, £4OO 10s, £IBO 4s 6d. Applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 27th April, and the ballot will take place early in the following month. AH seotions have formed road access, and are fairly well watered.
