WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP. WIN FOR MASTERTON. The final match for the Wairarapa cricket championship was played on the Park oval, Maaterton, on Saturday, and resulted in a decisive win for Masterton by ten wickets. .Ploy commenced at 10. a.m., on a good wicket, and up to the luncheon adjournment both teams had completed their first innings, Carterton making 48, and Maßterton 81. After lunch, Carterton again batted, and were disposed of,for 67, only one man, Ohristensen, making double figures.- Masterton then went in, and Moore 19 (not out), and Napper 23 (not out) made further play unnecessary, following ar& the scores>— CARTERTON.—First Innings.
