TINUI v. MASTERTON.
The Tinui players again met the Masterton-Lawn Tennis Club .on Saturday afternoon, and sustained a decisive defeat, the result being eighteen games to four. The day was somewhat! cold and ideal for tennis, and several' splendid exhibitions were given* particularly in-the ladies';, were quite a number present. A most enjoyable afternoon tea was given by Miss G. McKenzie, assisted by the lady members of the Masterton Club. The following composed the Tinui team:—Mesdames K. Groves, Taylor, and the Misses Schofield and Cripps, and Messrs K. Groves, Scrimageour, Breech, N. Groves, C. Perry, Potter, and D. Hebenton. Masterton was represented by Mrs P. Gordon and the Misses Atkinson, Graham, and G- Thompson, and Messrs Bee,' Rice, Heffer, G. Beardj Dyer, Hodgins, Hall, and Millar.
