WELLINGTON, Last Night; 4 The lawn tennis match between the Englishmen and New Zealanders was interrupted by rain, after two sets of the doubles had been played. Lowe and Beamish,won the first set, 6—4, and Peacock and Ollivier the second* 7—5. The visitors showed marked superiority in the opening stages, but the New Zealanders settled down, and played a good game. The match is to be decided on the best of five games, and the two sets played will not count, the match being recommenced.
