Tho conditions for the first day were difficult, owing to a tricky wind, which had the marksmen in a quandary, reminding them of some of the vagaries of Trentham, consequently good scoring was almost impossible in most cases, but J. E.

Oaiwell was the exception, and was an 3asy winner of the first match. On the second day conditions were good, and, as a consequence, somo good scores wcro registered. A. Lewin rattled on a seven-shot possible at 900 yards, and J. H. Naylor was the winner of the match. The following were details of the scoring:— THURSDAY, MARCH 18.

THURSDAY, MAECH 25. Conditions: 15 shots at 900 yardsj
