THE ROYAL VISIT.
There is just a danger of a little too much "flummery" being exercised over the Eoyal visit to Masterton. We do not want any of that sort of thing. The Prince does not "want it. He is only one of us, as he showed himself in France. Therefore, let us do things in the modest and circumspect way in which he would desire. We cannot all meet him at the railway station. Nor can we shake his Eoyal hand. But those who have charge of him would be well advised in remembering that they also are one of us.
