SENATE'S DECISION.
(By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright.) (Australian--N.Z. Cable Association.) Received Last Night, 7.30 o'clock. WASHINGTON. March 19.
The Senate has adopted a resolution to return the Peaco Treaty to President Wilson, with tho notice that tho Senate had failed to ratify it. A further motion was introduced into tho Senate, recommending it to reconsider the rejection of the Treaty, but Senator Marshall ruled it out of order.
Before the adjournment of the Senate, Senator Knox introduced a motion declaring that the war between tho United States and Germany had ended. The motion was tabled, and will be taken up on Monday.

The Poace Treaty has been returned to President Wilson, with a notification of its non-ratification accompanying it. Senator Knox introduced a motion to repeal tho declaration of war, and notifying Germany that unless she accepts*all undertakings contained in the Treaty, tho President will bo empowered to proclaim the prohibition" of commercial intercourse between the two countries.
