SURFING TRAGEDY.

THREE LIVES LOST.

(Received.Last Night, 10 o'clock.) SYDNEY, December 30.

A surfing tragedy occurred at Ronutla, resulting in the loss of three lives, the Misses Marjorie and Daphne Louden, daughters of Mr Alexander Louden, a prominent bowler, and Alexander Louden, a boy of 12 years, their nephew.

Marjorie got out of her depth in a dangerous spot, and the nephewwent to her assistance. Both got into trouble. Daphne then plunged in, and rill were swept out to sea. A boy witnessed the accident and ran for assistance, which arrived too late.

The bodies were washed ashore
