UNEMPLOYED.

CONDITIONS IN GERMANY,

WORST FOR FIVE YEAR,S

BERLIN, December 25. The condition of the unemployed' in Germany is the ! worst since 1908. Socialists have stated that 1,250,000 people are unemployed. A more conservative estimate is 800,000. The demand for unemployment insurance is increasing.
