THE TWO PARTIES.
The opinion (\pu sm d in oijr issue of yesterday that the future political struggle in this Dominion will be between the Moderate Liberals and the Labour-Socialists, is endorsed by the Christcluirch Press, which says':—
"in lutiiajfithe struggle for political ,supremacy in this country, will, as in Australia, lie between tlio extreme Labourites and the Moderate Progressives, the latter consisting of the Reform Party, strengthened by the moderate wing of the Liberals, while the more Radical section will hive off with the Social-Democrats. The result of the Lvttelton election has greatly strengthened this conclusion, and points to the fact that the readjustment of party lines is even nearer than we thought."
