I'AHLATUA stock sale. . The Xew Zealand »Loan and Mercantile Agency, Co., Ltd., report:— We held our usual weekly sale at Pahiatua on Tuesday, vvhen we submitted a fair entry of cattle to a large attendance of buyers. Com.'-e----titipn was keen throughout the sale and with the exception of one oei we made a total clearance under tlie hammer. Empty cows made £4 3s, to £4 7s, yearling steers £2 17s to £3 10s, yearling heifer's £2;, to £3 10s, heifers m calf £3, heifers with calves at "foot £3' to £3 17s, bulls to £4. ■■
