LIBEL ACTION.
NX' TIMES v. THE DOMINION. A wr.t claiming £3OOO damages for alleged libel was served at the office of the Dominion newspaper on Monday, at tiie instance of the New Zealand Times Company. The ground of action is an article published in the Dominion on December lltli, criticising tin! attitude of the Ne\v Zealand Tmie's towards the Red Federation, and jnore particularly its attitude in advising Liberals to support the candidate of the Federation in the second ballot of the Lyttelton election.
