James Bryce,.speaking at the Liberal.Cilub, said that during his tour he did. not find either Australia or New Zealand advocating separation from the Mother Country. It wofuld mark a decline if the British example of uniting liberty and order were ever to suffer at our hands. Everywhere he had travelled he found that the colonies had taken England as their model.
