LABOUR LEADER WILL FORM A
MINISTRY,
(Received Dec. 8, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE. Dec. 8. Mr Emslie (the Labour leader) has undertaken the formation of a Labour Ministry. 'J he party will chose the prospective Ministers by ballot, but tne portfolios will not yet be allotted. >
LABOUR MINISTRY FORMED.
(Received Last Night, 8.40 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, December 8, Mr Elmslie, the Labour leader, who was sent for by the Governor on the resignation of Mr Watt, after a rioconiidence motion had been carried, has formed the following Ministry, whichN was selected by ballot of .the party:— Premier and Treasurer.—Mr Elmslie. Chief Secretary.—Mr Prendergast. Minister of Education and Labour. —Mr li'emmon. Minister of Lands and Agriculture. —Mr* Plain. Minister of Mines. Outtriin; Minister of Railways.—Mr Biteon. Attorney-General and Minister of Health.—Mr Evans. Minister of Public Works.—Mr McLellan. (The Two latter are members of the Legislative Council.) Honorary Ministers—Messrs D. Smith, M. Hannah, J. Jones, and W. Fielding.
