MRS PANKHURST.
IN VERY WEAK CONDITION.
PROTECTED BY BODY-GUARD
(Received Last Night, 10.10 o'clock.) LONDON, December 8. Mrs PankhursTnas beeg. granted a week's license.
She is very weak, and it is rumoured that she is sufEering from pleurisy. The Dean of Exeter, at the instance of a Suffragette deputation, introduced Mrs Pankhurst's name in the prayer for those distressed in mind, body, and estate. Mrs Drummond, at a meeting at Earls Court, stated that they swore the Government would never again get Mrs Pankhurst as their bodyguards would protect her. A collection taken up at the meeting realised £15,000, Including £3500, the result of Mrs Pankhurst's American tour.
