CONFERENCE WITH THE KAISER
.MANOEUVRES TO PROCEED
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) BERLIN, December 6.
The Kaiser, after consultation with Hen- voji Bethmann-Holhveg (Chancellor of the Exchequer), Count Wecfel. General Deimling, and the Staathalter, decided that the Zabern garrison proceed with its manoeuvres until further orders, and until tlie court-martial of the recruits arrested shall have been, completed.
PUNISHMENT OF OFFICERS DEMANDED.
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) ' a BERLIN, December 6. The Zabern peoplei demand the punishment of Colonel R«uter and Lieutenant Foerstner.
CHANCELLOR OFFERS TO RESIGN.
KAISER DECLINES RESIGNATION
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) BERLIN, December 6. It is believed that the Chancellor (Herr ron Bethmann-Hollweg) offered to hand in his resignation, which the Kaiser declined to accept.
