Quotations: 2-tooth„wethers 16s 3d, I yearling calves £2 17s to £3 75,. fat I heifers.£s to £5 7s 6d, heifers and calvea £5 to £ss sd, mixed yearlings, I 395, yearling steers £2 10s, 2-year; ! steers £4 2s 6d to £4. 7a 6d ; nice lino of 70 2-vear steers made 6d; 1 fat cows (light) £4 10s to £5 < heavier weights £5 Its (id t6 £6 7s: 6d, oowfi in milk £6 tfl £6 7s 6d, springing oows £4 15s to £6 ss, store cows £4 3s to £4 4s, Hereford brills £2 to £2 10s, Jersey bulls; £1 13s 6d : to £4. . T i Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd. leport on their Pahiatua 'stock sale, held last Tuesday, as follows : We had a fair yarding of feheep and cattle, which we submitted to a good attendance of buyers. Wo have to report a good clearance at prices ruling m other centres. Quotations: Two, 4, and 6-tooth ewes with lambs at foot 24s to 25s 6d, 2-tooth to f.m. fat and forward ewes 17s Id, ewes and lambs (all counted) 10s 7d; Jersey bulls 355, td £3 15s, Jersey bulls £2 to £5, ss,' yearling bulls 30s, heifers: on the drop £5 15s; yearling heifers £2 17s 6d to £3 ss, 15-months heifers £3 10s, yearling srteers £3 3s, cows ar.d calves £3 17.5, store cows £4 12s 6d.
LONDON WOOL SALE.
The New Zealand Loa.ll and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received tlio following cablegram froift their London house, under date, 2nd inst!: fee demand on American account is restricted, but competition on German and French account is active. As compared with last sales closing rates, prices are about the same for scoured Crossbred, greasy Merino super, coarse greasy Crossbred, Crossbred slipe, lambs, greasy Merino medium, and scoured Merino and lower by about 5 per cent, for greasy Merino inferior and - medium greasy Crossbred. .
