UPPER PLAIN RAINFALL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that rain fell on 20 days in November, the maximum fall during 24 hours being 74 points, registered on the 12th, aniT the. minimum 1 ipoint on the loth. The. total for the, month wa-s 3.27 inches, the average for November being 3.10 inches. The total for the past eleven months is 35.13 inches, as compared with 43.17, 47.90, 39.60, 53.12, 30.85, '35.19, 37.25, 40.11, and 47.82 inches for. the corresponding period in 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909 ? 1910, 1911, and 1912 respectively, the average being 41.67 inches. The rainfall so far for this year is, consequently, 6$ inches "siTort o'f the ( average.
