LARGE AND ENTHUSIASTIC ~AUDIENCE AT BOMBAY. 'Times'— 'Sydney Sun' Special Cables (Received Nov. 26, 8;30 a.m.) BOMBAY. Nov. 25. The first public performance of Miss Maud Allen, the well-known dancer, was given before a large and enthusiastic audience. [English people in India have made strong protests' against the appearance in India of Miss 'Maud Allen, on the ground that the scanty costume worn by her in her classic dances would tend to endanger the prestige of English women in the eyes of the natives. There has been much press controversy on the subiect.]
