British and Continental supplies plentiful; prices generally weaker. Beef the exception, Scotch 6*d to 7d, English 6d to 6Jd, Irish s§d to 61d, Canadian 5Jd to 6d. Mutton: Scotch 7M, English 6id to 7d, Dutch 5Jd to 6d, English ewes 5d to 5Jd. Tegs: Scotch to Bd, English 6Jd to 7Jd, Scotch hill lambs (3d to 7d, but sometimes sold at 5Jd to clear. Veal Gd to 9d, pork to Bd. Duteh heavier. Market finished with low prices. .Frozen. —Lambs neglected, New Zealand* showing signs" of long storage. Mutton slow at high prices. About 220,000 Australians arriving this month, but only 150,000 from New Zealand and Plate. Chilled beef very dear. Supplies virtually in the hands of one firm.
