WOMEN WORKERS.
MINIMUM WAGE FIXED. 'Times' —' Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 6.5 o'clock.) PARIS, November 17. The Chamber of Deputies has passed a Bill fixing a minimum wage for women engaged in the clothing industry. Cases have been cited where women have worked thirty-seven hours' for eleven pence. This position is the result of the competition of married women in their efforts to supplement their husband's wages.
