NO BREAD FOR THE HOSPITAL.
WESTPORT, Last Night. Matters in Westport are very quiet. The stores have run out of flour, sugar, potatoes, onions, and some other lines, hut still have a good supply of shelf goods. The bakers are almost out of flour. Notice has been" given to th* Butler Hospital an.4, Charitable Aid Board that they "cannot supply bread after Thursday. The Kairaki was expected here from LyttelFon with a cargo of produce, hut advice Ifas now been received that she is not coming. The General Labourers' Union passed a resolution calling oh the Government to release the imprisoned leaders. Addresses have been given by local strike leaders at the .street corners, and one Mclnerney, formerly of Australia, where, he has some reputation as a lecturer, delivered an address., m the theatre to-night.
