GENERAL DUFF'S APPOINTMENT
GENERALLY APPROVED
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) DELHI, November 15. The newspapers generally approve of General Sir"Seauchamp Duff's appointment to the Command of the Indian Army. The Nationalists are apprehensive that he may carry out Lord Kitchener's military policy. The Civil and Gazette interprets the appointments a prelude to Lord Kitchener's becoming Viceroy of India.
