FEAR OF POGROMS
(Received Nov. 12, 8.30 a.m.) KIEFF, Nov. 11. Numerous Jewish families are leaving here, fearing pogroms. The polfce are taking the most rigorous methods to maintain order.
The Minister for the Interior has warned tlio Governor thai; lie will be held responsible for acts of violence.
SOME OF THE JURY'S FINDINGS SUSPICION CAST ON JEWISH COMMUNITY.
(Received Nov. 12, 10.20 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, Nov: II The jury, while acquitting Beiliss, found that Yuchchinsky was murder* ed in tho Zaitseff brickworks, belonging to the Jewish surgical hospital; also that forty-seven wounds had been inflicted, and five cups of "blood ■ taken from the body. These decisions, generally regarded as casting suspicion on the entire Jewish community, are held in many quarters to justify the I'itual murder charges. During the jury's deliberations, a memorial service for Yuchchinsky was held in St. Sofia's Church, in the vicinity of the Court. The bishop urged the congregation to conform to the Court's decision. Large crowds awaited the verdict, but the police dispersed the gathering. Many agitators are inciting the mobs to pogroms.
PROSECUTING COUNSEL BANQUETTED.
(Received November 12, 11 a.m.) KIEFF, November 11. Six hundred persons banoue't'ted the prosecuting' barristers. The guests included Yuchcbinsky's mother and step-father, "and B:sb<rt) Nicodemus.
