Mr F. W. Bunting, the well-known photographer of Palnierstoii North,, died yesterday morning from the effects of dropsy. He was forty-five years of age. - Mr Robert Walker, a prominent figure in commercial circles' in Auckland for the past half century, diecf at his residence at Devonport hist Monday. He came but to New Zealand in 1863 for the benefit of his health, which soon became restored, and lie lived to the great age of 91. Mr Petrus Van der Yelden, one of tho greatest artists that this country has been made acquainted with, has died at the Auckland Hospital, his death being due to heart failure. About a fortnight ago he went to Auckland, accompanied by his wife, for a holiday, and ho was taken suddenly ill on Tuesday, and died in the evening.
The death of Mr .Tamos Wishart, who had lived in Wellington for the greater part of his life, occurred at his residence in Grass street. Oriental Bay, on Tuesday. The deceased, who was sixty years of ape, was born in London and came out to New Zealand with his parents when he was only a year old, the first port of arrival being Napier. He spent his boyhood iu Hawked Bay, and saw service in the Maori war as a despatch rider.
